Areas we cover

Most of our patients walk here. Woodhouse is our own street. Hyde Park is a few minutes across the Moor, Headingley is 0.9 miles down the A660, and the University of Leeds campus is about ten minutes on foot.

We also see people from Burley, Little London, Meanwood, Kirkstall, Chapel Allerton, Weetwood and Leeds city centre, and from further out — Armley, Roundhay, Moortown, Harehills, Horsforth, Bramley and Beeston — because we are open when other practices are closed.

Leeds General Infirmary is 1.1 miles up Woodhouse Lane, and NHS, police, fire and ambulance staff get 10% off treatment. Students get the same, with any reasonable proof — see our student dentist page.

A dentist in Woodhouse, open when you need one

Woodhouse sits between the university and Hyde Park, a grid of Victorian terraces on the edge of the Moor. We are one of them — 1 Moor View, just off the main road, with a blue front door and blue painted step rails. If you live on Woodhouse Street, Woodhouse Lane or any of the streets running off them, we are the nearest practice to you that is open in the evening at all.

It is an odd part of Leeds for dentistry. Thousands of people live here, and almost everything closes at five. That is the gap we were built for: a scheduled evening clinic 6.30pm to 10pm seven days a week, reception answered around the clock, and an on-call dentist overnight.

When we are open

We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week — we do not close at 10pm. Reception is answered around the clock and an on-call dentist is available at any hour, with a fixed out-of-hours fee after 10:30pm that is confirmed on the phone before you travel. We are open at weekends and on bank holidays.

Before you set off

  • Call 0113 819 7865 so we know you are coming and can confirm the fee.
  • Bring a list of any medicines you take, and details of any medical conditions.
  • If a crown or a piece of tooth has come out, bring it with you.
  • If you are a student or NHS staff, bring your ID for the discount.
