When the Meanwood practices have closed for the day

Most dental practices in north Leeds keep ordinary hours and close by early evening. If a tooth starts throbbing after tea, or you crack a filling on a Saturday night, the usual answer is to ring NHS 111 and wait to be placed.

We work the other way round. Reception is answered around the clock, and our scheduled evening clinic runs 6:30pm to 10pm every day. If you are in pain, we book you in with the on-call dentist to be seen at the practice.

What we can treat the same night

Most things that hurt: toothache, a dental abscess or facial swelling, a broken or chipped tooth, a lost filling or crown, a knocked-out tooth and wisdom tooth pain. The full list is on our emergency dentist page.

We are also a full private practice: check-ups, hygiene visits, white fillings, root canals, crowns, composite bonding, teeth whitening and clear aligners.

What it costs

A new patient consultation is £24 up to 10pm and includes the examination, any X-rays needed and a written treatment plan. After 10pm the on-call dentist comes in overnight and the consultation is £499. Every treatment price is on our price list, out-of-hours rates included, so you know what you are agreeing to before you come.

Students and blue light staff get 10% off treatment. If you would rather spread the cost of routine care, our membership plans start at £9.99 a month.
