Blue light discount dentist in Leeds — 10% off, open when your shift ends

Twilight Dental is at 1 Moor View, LS6 1AQ — 1.1 miles from Leeds General Infirmary, a 23-minute walk straight up Woodhouse Lane, or five minutes in a car. We take 10% off treatment for NHS staff, police, fire and ambulance crews, there is free parking, and our evening clinic runs until 10pm seven days a week.

The short version

  • 10% off treatment for NHS, police, fire and ambulance staff.
  • Any reasonable proof works — a Blue Light Card, a work badge, a payslip, an NHS email address.
  • 1.1 miles from the LGI. Evening clinic 6.30pm to 10pm, seven days, and reception answered around the clock.
  • Free parking for patients, plus on-street parking on and around Moor View.
  • New patient consultation £24, including any X-rays needed and a written treatment plan.
  • The 10% comes off treatment, and it stacks with a membership plan.

The point is not really the discount

It is that we are open when you finish. Every general practice within a mile of the LGI shuts at five, which is no use at all if you come off a late at eight o’clock. Our scheduled evening clinic runs 6.30pm to 10pm, every day of the week, and reception is answered around the clock and books you in with the on-call dentist. After 10.30pm a fixed out-of-hours fee applies, quoted before you agree to anything.

If you finish a late at eight, you can be in a chair by half past.

What the discount covers

10% off all treatment. It is not an introductory offer and it is not limited to particular treatments — it comes off every treatment, every visit.

It applies to treatment rather than to the £24 new patient consultation, which is already around a third of what most practices charge for a first appointment. It also stacks with a membership plan, so if you are on Essentials or Essentials Plus the blue light discount comes off on top of the discount your plan already gives you.

What proof do I need?

Whatever you have. A Blue Light Card, a work ID badge, a payslip, an NHS email address — any of it is fine. We are not going to make this difficult, and once it is on your record you never have to ask again.

Getting here from the LGI

On foot

1.1 miles, about 23 minutes, straight up Woodhouse Lane on the A660.

By bus

Services run the length of Woodhouse Lane and stop within a few minutes’ walk of the practice.

By car

About five minutes. Look for the blue front door and the blue step rails just off the main road.

Parking

Free parking for patients, plus on-street parking on and around Moor View.

Does it cover my family?

The 10% is for you — it is not transferable to a partner or to children. If you are booking for the whole household, our family membership plans cover two adults, or two adults and two children, on one monthly payment from £34.99, and they include their own discount on routine treatment.

What we treat

Everything a general practice does — check-ups, hygiene visits, fillings, root canals, crowns, implants and clear aligners — plus the whole range of emergency treatment at any hour.

Questions

Do I need a Blue Light Card?

No. A card, a work badge, a payslip or an NHS email address — any reasonable evidence is fine.

Can I come straight from a shift?

Yes. Evenings until 10pm, seven days a week. Come in your scrubs, nobody minds.

Do you take NHS patients?

No, we are a private practice. But the new patient consultation is £24 including X-rays, and membership plans start at £9.99 a month, so it is rather less than people expect.

Do I need to register or be referred?

Neither. Call 0113 819 7865 at any hour and reception will book you in.

Can I keep my own dentist?

Yes. Plenty of people see us once for something urgent and go back to their own practice with our notes.

In pain, mid-term, and not registered anywhere?

That is exactly who we are here for. Call 0113 819 7865, book online, or message us on WhatsApp.
