A guide to the treatments we offer at Twilight Dental, grouped by category. This page explains what each treatment involves — for prices, see our Price List.

General & Preventive

  • Routine Examination — A full check-up of your teeth, gums and mouth to catch any problems early and keep your smile healthy.

  • X-ray (each) — A digital X-ray used to see below the gum line and between teeth, helping us spot decay or bone issues not visible to the eye.

  • Emergency Appointment — A same-day assessment for sudden pain, breakages or swelling, so urgent problems are seen quickly.

  • Scale & Polish / Hygiene Visit — Professional cleaning to remove plaque and tartar build-up, leaving your teeth smooth, fresh and easier to keep clean at home.

  • Fissure Sealant (per tooth) — A thin protective coating applied to the chewing surface of back teeth to help guard against decay, especially useful for children and teenagers.

Crowns, Veneers & Bridges

  • Crown – Porcelain / Zirconia / Emax — A custom-made cap that fits over a damaged or heavily filled tooth, restoring its strength, shape and appearance.

  • Crown – Metal / Gold — A hard-wearing cap made from metal or gold alloy, often used on back teeth where strength matters most.

  • Veneer – Composite — A tooth-coloured resin applied directly to the front of a tooth to improve its shape or colour, built up in a single visit.

  • Veneer – Porcelain — A thin, custom-made porcelain shell bonded to the front of a tooth for a longer-lasting cosmetic improvement.

  • Contact Lens Veneers — An ultra-thin, no-prep porcelain veneer that needs little to no removal of natural tooth structure, ideal for subtle smile changes.

  • Bridge (per unit) — A fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth, anchored to the neighbouring natural teeth or implants.

Composite Bonding

  • Composite Bonding (per tooth) — Tooth-coloured resin sculpted onto teeth to close gaps, reshape edges or repair chips, usually completed in a single appointment.

  • Composite Bonding – 8 Teeth Package — Our discounted package price for bonding across a fuller smile, ideal for a more complete cosmetic refresh.

Fillings & Extractions

  • Composite Filling (1 / 2 / 3+ surfaces) — A tooth-coloured filling used to repair decay or damage, priced by how many surfaces of the tooth are involved.

  • Simple Extraction — Removal of a tooth that is fully visible above the gum, carried out under local anaesthetic.

  • Surgical Extraction — A more involved removal for teeth that are broken, impacted or not fully erupted.

  • Wisdom Tooth Removal — Extraction of third molars that are impacted, causing pain, or at risk of future problems.

Dentures & Cosmetic

  • Full Denture (one arch) — A removable full set of replacement teeth for either the upper or lower arch.

  • Teeth Whitening — A professional whitening treatment to lift stains and brighten your natural smile.

Implants & Orthodontics

  • Dental Implant (single) — A titanium post placed into the jawbone to permanently replace a missing tooth root, topped with a custom crown.

  • Invisalign / Clear Aligners — A series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten teeth without traditional metal braces.

Root Canal Treatment

  • Front Tooth / Premolar — Treatment to remove infected or damaged nerve tissue from a front tooth or premolar and seal it, relieving pain and saving the tooth from extraction.

  • Molar — The same nerve-saving treatment for back teeth, which typically have more canals and take longer to treat.

Out of Hours

  • Out of Hours Call-Out Fee — A fixed fee for urgent dental care outside normal opening hours (after 10:30pm).

  • Extraction (Simple / Moderate / Complex / Surgical) — Emergency tooth removal, priced by complexity, when seen outside normal hours.

  • Filling (Simple / Moderate / Complex) — Emergency fillings, priced by complexity, when seen outside normal hours.

  • Root Canal (Anterior / Posterior, Stage 1 / 2) — Emergency root canal treatment carried out in stages, priced by tooth position and complexity, when seen outside normal hours.

  • Antibiotic Prescription — Antibiotics prescribed where clinically appropriate to help manage infection alongside treatment.
